At the invitation of DIMPEX d.o.o., the official distributor of HOLZ-HER edge banding machines for Slovenia, we attended the presentation of the new GLU JET PUR PRO adhesive unit last week. The event was dedicated both to showcasing the technical innovations and to a hands-on demonstration of the system in operation.
The HOLZ-HER Glue Jet PUR PRO represents the next generation of adhesive application systems, featuring an innovatively designed vacuum system that enables the use of PUR adhesive directly in the machine for up to five days, without the risk of glue curing. This new technology brings greater flexibility, less material waste, and, in practice, higher efficiency and lower operating costs.
During the presentation, a live test of the GLU JET PUR PRO adhesive unit was conducted, using Technomelt HKP 27 PUR hotmelt adhesive and Technomelt CLEANER 4 cleaning cartridges, both from HENKEL. The combination of HOLZ-HER’s advanced technology and HENKEL’s proven adhesives demonstrated exceptional bonding quality as well as simple and safe handling of PUR materials.
