On Friday, 27 February 2026, a professional training event Adler – Effects and Lacquered Surfaces took place in Preserje. The event was organized in cooperation with the company DILA MIZARSTVO, Aljaž Susman s.p., and the technical content was led by a representative of Adler.
The training was intended for an in-depth understanding of advanced techniques for surface treatment and lacquering. Six companies attended it. Before the event, the participants prepared various materials and surfaces on which they could test and observe how the lacquers behave during application. These samples can serve companies as reference surfaces for presentations to architects and designers.
The tested surfaces were:
• veneered boards with oak veneer, sanded to G180
• raw MDF boards
• MDF boards with a base foil
• chipboard or MDF boards with a base foil
• glass panels with a thickness of 6–8 mm

The participants gained insight into the latest lacquering procedures and tested the quality of various materials.
