Furniture Locks

Locks are used to prevent access to stored items. In our offer, we have furniture locks that can prevent the opening of traditional hinged doors, drawers, and sliding doors.

Frequently asked Questions

Accurate information is key to high-quality execution, which is why we are here to answer your questions.

How many different keys (cylinder locks) are available for Lehmann furniture locks?

We always have up to 50 different cylinders in stock, but we can supply up to 1000 different cylinder inserts on order.

Can the same cylinder insert be used for multiple types of Lehmann locks?

Yes, the cylinder insert is compatible with all types of furniture locks in the Prestige 2 series.

What does it mean if a lock is left-handed or right-handed?

The designation left or right lock refers to the door opening direction into which the lock is installed. It is important to select the correct side so the lock functions properly and the door closes smoothly. • Left lock: If you stand in front of the locked door with the door opening towards you and the hinges are on the left side, you need a left lock. • Right lock: If you stand in front of the locked door with the door opening towards you and the hinges are on the right side, you need a right lock.

What is the difference between Fix code and Free code combination locks?

DIALOCK FIXCODE is ideal for users who use the same storage space for a longer period, such as personal lockers in office environments. When a new user takes over the locker, they enter their personal code, which remains valid until changed. The user can reset the code at any time (e.g., for security if the code may have been compromised). The "scramble" function provides a high level of security and convenience: after each locking, the dial automatically moves to "0 0 0 0," hiding the set code without any additional user action. DIALOCK FREECODE is designed for one-time use of a storage space, such as guest lockers or public areas. It works similarly to a hotel safe. The user occupies the locker and locks it with a chosen personal code. When accessing the content, the user enters the same code, which opens and simultaneously resets the lock — making it immediately ready for the next user. In this case, too, the "scramble" function automatically resets the dial to "0 0 0 0" after each locking, providing extra protection without additional intervention.
