Frequently asked Questions

Accurate information is key to high-quality execution, which is why we are here to answer your questions.
What does mixing ratio mean?
The mixing ratio refers to the proportion between component A (base – paint, lacquer, etc.) and component B (hardener or activator) in two-component systems such as coatings or repair fillers. Mixing initiates a chemical curing reaction, and the correct mixing ratio is crucial for achieving optimal product performance and quality.
What is the difference between weight and volume mixing ratios?
In some cases, the specific gravity of the hardener differs from that of the base product. This means that equal volumes do not equal equal weights. For weight-based mixing, a scale is used; for volume-based mixing, a measuring cup is appropriate. Before mixing, always check whether the specified ratio is by weight or by volume, as incorrect mixing can compromise product performance and durability.
