Frequently asked Question

To achieve durable and high-quality processing, it is essential to have the right information...
When do we use a rubber-tipped mechanism and when a magnetic push-to-open mechanism?
A >rubber-tipped mechanism is used with standard furniture hinges, while a magnetic mechanism is used with hinges that do not have an integrated spring.
How do I know which connecting fitting I need?
For standard countertops, we recommend the QUICK connector; for thinner countertops (up to 10 mm), the K-TOP connector is more suitable. For joining cabinet carcasses, we suggest using TARGET or ELEFANT connectors. For securing shelves, the PK2 or FLIPPER connectors work best.
Are screws included with furniture brackets?
No, screws are not included with furniture brackets and must be ordered separately.
What is the purpose of a wardrobe lift mechanism?
The wardrobe lift mechanism provides access to and optimizes the use of higher sections of wardrobes, which are otherwise difficult to reach or accessible only with a step stool.
What is the difference between the PR6 and PR7 soft closers?
PR6 is used with drawers that have double metal sides (e.g., the BB01 line), while PR7 is for so-called slim sides – flat drawer sides (e.g., the HT line).
How do we distinguish K-TECH hardware by strength?
The stronger mechanism (STRONG) is marked with a red backplate.
