TECHNOMELT® PUR 270/7 is a natural-colored PUR hot-melt adhesive in granules, designed for edge banding of straight edges and softforming processing. It provides high initial bond strength and forms tight, clean edges with very high heat resistance (>150 °C), flexibility, and excellent water resistance. The adhesive is suitable for edge banding at feed speeds from 15 m/min and works well with standard edge banding machines as well as application via roller or nozzle.
It is suitable for edge bonding of solid wood, veneer, melamine, polyester, HPL*, PVC*, ABS*, and PP*.
The suitability of the adhesive depends on the properties of the individual edge material and the method of application. A preliminary suitability test of the adhesive is recommended.
