TECHNOMELT® DORUS KS 224/2 is a low-viscosity EVA hot-melt adhesive in granules for edge banding, available in natural (natur) color. The adhesive is especially suitable for manually operated edge banding machines at feed speeds starting from 3 m/min and for edge banding with direct application of the adhesive onto the edge band. It provides fast melting, good workpiece wetting, high adhesion, and high usage efficiency even at low working temperatures.
It is suitable for edge bonding of veneer, melamine edge bands, polyester, HPL*, PVC*, ABS*, and PP* up to approximately 1 mm thickness.
The suitability of the adhesive depends on the properties of the individual edge material and pre-application. A preliminary suitability test of the adhesive is recommended.
