Screw for fixing hardware elements for furniture to lowdensity materials (chipboard, MDF or soft wood), preventing stripping during the tightening phase.
Braking ribs below the head to ensure a stop due to friction during the tightening phase, thus preventing stripping of the material. Locking of the head ensures greater resistance to unscrewing and a high tear resistance.
Sharp thread with a narrow pitch which enables the screw to obtain a high tear resistance, even when screwing into thin materials, such as furniture panels.
Ogive-shaped tip threaded right to the end to penetrate into the material, deforming it gradually without causing any splits and avoid damaging the laminated finishing layer.
CARBONITRIDING HEAT TREATMENT
This confers two properties to the screw:
- very hard surface, for biting into the fibres of the hardest wood;
- tough, elastic core, needed to avoid breakage of screws.
WHITE ZINC PLATING 100 HOURS GALVANIC TREATMENT
guarantees a rust resistance a third higher than that of standard galvanizing. Complies with the EN1670 standard grade 3.
