Blažič Edge-banding Tapes Made of Veneer for Straight-line and Soft-forming Edges These single-layer tapes are made of top-quality or fine-line veneers designed for banding straight-line and soft forming edges. The tapes, which are grinded and coated, are supplied with or without hot-melt adhesive. Generally supplied in rolls. If required, the tapes can be delivered in strips, with lengths defined upon order.

Blažič Veneer Edge-banding Tapes Used for Wrapping A selection of high-quality veneers as well as coating and grinding technology up to 2.0 mm is the base for the manufacture process of edge-banding tapes used for highly demanding profile wrapping and concealing cracks in door wings. In their quality as well as flexibility, these tapes are very similar to soft forming edge-banding tapes, the only difference being their wider sizes due to wider profiles they are designed for.

Veneer Edge-banding Tapes With a Lacquer Finish, Used for Wrapping and Edge-banding On request, we deliver pre-lacquered edge-banding tapes in all types of wood, which are designed for wrapping profiles and concealing cracks on door panels. The level of shine in the lacquer finish can be adapted to customer’s needs and requirements.

Blažič Multi-layer Veneer Edge-banding Tapes in Rolls These multi-layer veneer edge-banding tapes are made of veneer sheets glued together, which enable high-quality processing on edge-banding machines. A quality selection and good colour matching system for individual veneer sheets give a multi-layer edge-banding tape produced through this method both qualities and appearance of compact wrapping material. Sheets of veneer are bonded together with special PVAc 3D glue, which enables flexibility of the multi-layer tapes and subsequent high-quality banding of curved edges on BAZ machines. In stock: multi-layer tapes in all commercially available wood types in standard thickness sizes of 1 mm, 1.5 mm or 2 mm and width sizes of 23 mm, 30 mm, 34 mm and 44 mm. Supplied in the maximal roll length of 100 running metres. All other tape dimensions are delivered exclusively on request.

Blažič Multi-layer Veneer Edge-banding Tapes in Strips Thick multi-layer edge-banding tapes in strips are used where rolled tape is impossible to use due to different reasons, especially in cases when there is no possibility to wind up the tape in a roll because of its thickness (from 5 mm onwards).  Tapes in strips can also be delivered in cases when the ordered quantity is not sufficient for the entire roll, for example when tapes are ordered in a special type of veneer or special size. Tapes in strips are delivered on request.

Multiplex Edge-banding Tapes in Rolls The design of Multiplex multi-layer edge bands depends upon the type of the upper veneer layer, and the rest of the tape layers are made of good-quality beech or birch wood veneers. In stock: Mulriplex edge-banding tape. Thickness: 2 mm. Width: 23 mm, 30 mm, 34 mm or 44 mm.  On request, the tapes are available in four different multiplex designs. Thickness: from 0.6 mm to 3 mm. Width: on customer’s request.

Multiplex Edge-banding Tapes in Strips A unique Multiplex edge-banding tape can be created by a symmetrical combination of two different wood types/colours and their distribution over the surface. Multiplex edge-banding tapes in strips meet the highest quality and design standards and can be used for banding edges on kitchen worktops and similar surfaces. Multiplex tapes in strips are delivered exclusively on customer’s request and in line with their specifications.

Vinterio Edge-banding Tapes in Rolls Table tops, vertical and other furniture parts are available in extremely attractive designs with edges banded in a tape made of special type of veneer called vinterio, the upper layer of which is applied at the vertical angle of 90° to other veneer layers of the tape. In stock: vinterio edge-banding tapes of all commercially available veneer types. Thickness: 0.8 mm. Width: on customer's request.

PP-wood Edge-banding Tapes in Rolls PP-wood edge-banding tapes are made of recycled wood and designed exclusively for banding edges on MDF boards and particleboards, allowing subsequent application of all wood maintenance products. A panel edge-banded with the PP-wood tape shows changes in size emerging due to climate deviations, which are completely identical to changes shown in the edge-banding tape itself, which is an advantage for subsequent application of wood maintenance products, if compared to other edge-banding materials such as ABS and PVC.
