Who We Are?

We are specialized producer and distributor of edgebandings, furniture hardware, accessories, handles, screws and wood based boards.

In the last two years, we have employed as many as 50 new staff members, which means our number of employees has grown to about 100. Moreover, our business premises  became too small for a business of this size, so an extension was added to the existing premises by the construction of a new building, which serves as office facilities and a warehouse. This means the previous premises were extended from 2,800 m² to 6,800 m². Our warehouses, which can be found at other locations, provide an additional 1,400 m² of space.

By utilising our stock of products, which is always carefully planned in advance, we can guarantee a short response time and quick delivery. In so doing, we can secure delivery in the shortest possible time.

In Slovenia, the company Blažič, robni trakovi is the leading player in the market for edge-banding tapes used in the furniture industry.

Our customers are offered the widest selection of products in different patterns as well as thickness and width sizes. Currently, our offer comprises around 460 colours and patterns of 300 types of ABS edge-banding tapes, 80 types of melamine edge-banding tapes, 40 types of CPL edge-banding tapes used on worktops, and 35 types of edge-banding tapes made of natural veneer. This way, we can provide our customers with a wide possibility of choice and an overall solution - all in one place.

Company Development

Blažič, robni trakovi heavily invests in the development of new edge-banding tapes, since new trends in the particleboard industry continue to emerge at an increasing pace. New boards also call for new types of edge-banding tape. In doing this, we make our best effort to offer our customers products that meet even the most demanding trends in product development, especially in terms of quality and affordable prices.

Our new store in Ljubljana (500 m²) is located in the city centre and has a large parking facility. Our consultants in the store will provide a fast service. Cash registers for retail items, wholesale products, and purchases made upon prior orders are placed separately.

We are gradually expanding our business activities by founding our own companies abroad.  We have already established them in Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Montenegro and Macedonia. In terms of sales, we are also active in the Austrian, German, Belgian, English, Rusian, Italian and Ukrainian markets.
